Nostalgic

But where's the snowman?
I loved the feel, the detail that went into this, but the zoning camera was a bit nauseating at times, and the scenery got kinda dull after a while. I'm not sure how to fix this, but I'm sure you can come up with something.

ItsTheAshtray responds:

Hey, thanks for the review and good suggestions. The scenery is my biggest problem with it as well. I'm going to work on a sequel maybe for next month but probably for next year with levels, customizable riders, and just overall more polish.

I got to level 49...

Wow, that was great. I loved it. And great music!!! That may have been your winning feature.

I don't hate it, even if you do

but there's the issue of depth. The ball bounces off an invisible wall before it can even touch the back wall... check that, please

MonoFlauta responds:

Ok i will check it

...wow...

I've got ambiguous thoughts on this game. THe concept is dull, the gameplay sucks, and its just overall boring.

But the graphics are great, the way you pulled if off was amazing, and your music selection was a good one.

In conclusion, you pulled off a 1 star game in a 10 star fashion. I'm just not sure who would really want to play this... excellent job on the quality, but its just simply... not really considerable as a game.

Ugilitiozavrus responds:

Well, I couldn't put it as a movie either, so I was kinda low on options here.

Not so hot...

The ship is big, the movement is clunky, and everything is so... repetitive. I like that there are multiple weapons, but that's about the only good feature. I can tell you spent some time on the graphics, but having the enemy ships explode or something would make it feel a little more profesional. And the sound... non-existant. Explosion sounds are easy to find, and some basic techno or trance would be fitting for background music.

Good.

These games are my favorite. Yours is among the top i've seen- ingenuitive, shiny, and new. But there are a few issues:
1. Only half the screen is useable. Believe it or not, most of your audience is mature enough to know when its safe to go up farther, into the enemy. Please let us.
2. The sprites for the bullets and the crystals are too similar. I suggest either using a consistant color for bullets/crystals, in order for the recognition of each to be faster, or to make them more blatantly different. Keep in mind that people never watch their ship while playing these games; they look ahead. Hence, when either a bullet or diamond gets close to the ship, its out of the corner of one's eye that he sees it. The identities of each must be very different to maintain easy recognition.

Other than those major issues, I didn't see much I didn't like. The sprites are wonderfully made, the music is very fitting, and even drives the game some. The enemies have creative patterns of movement and attacking. Overall, you did a good job with this.

Skellus responds:

1. It was made not to restrain the wild arm of player, rather to make the life more difficult to him/her. But I've changed it.
2. Fixed too :).

Thanks very much for feedback!
