Bugs, bugs, bugs

I can't get the cursor to move off the top left corner. Pretty dull, until you get that fixed.

Controls

Should make a game worth playing and feel natural, not make me want to strangle you. Look at the game Lint for a good example of wall-jumping intuitive controls. Here, it was just obnoxious.

I don't get how controls can be obnoxious

I would love it, but...

...albeit unintentional, this game is strikingly similar to a Dolphin game much like it that had a higher emphasis on tricks and getting higher and higher out of the water and exploring the upper reaches of the atmosphere. It was a great game, overall, and I did enjoy it; but it has been done before, almost exactly the same, but with better graphics and game physics.

How about a "shuffle tiles" feature for when the move counter hits zero? Sorry pal, but I'm not undoing a hundred moves just to go back through them all.

Controls

I love how simple it is, but because of how fast the camera moves, it's near impossible to keep clicking an enemy - please make an attack button instead of clicking.

LunaDrift responds:

yeah... the controls can be a bit awkward. try moving with the keyboard and see if that helps

Great game! But...

I'm not changing my date and time for a flash game, sorry. At least it was the last level.

Umm...

Graphics? Gradients are not that creative and look kind of tacky. Maybe try coming up with a graphic theme/setting, and create a background for it as well.
Music? It makes a game feel more professional. Choose something that won't get annoying over time though.

I think this game is neat, it just lacks professionalism. That's what makes or breaks these games that there are eight million of out there. People play the most professional feeling ones.

Rehtael responds:

really? a 4?
well thanks for the constructive critique anyways

Great!

The graphics were very good, and the music and sound well put together, but there's still room for improvement. Maybe add more of a challenge to launching the rocket to break up the monotony, like how the "Learning to Fly" game has you control your angle and stuff in flight. Maybe give the player deployable upgrades, like extra engines they can fire off in flight. If you have a player simply launching rockets repetitively over and over again, there's little motivation to keep going for more upgrades.

Oh, and please add the option to mute sound effects. I have a roommate that likes to study.

Mute button?

I know it's not a big review, but please add a mute button. Thanks.

Coaly responds:

Wow it's in there, seriously I'll update the comments if people can't find mute buttons. I even made it so you can just press m.

Awesome.

Great game. Loved the sounds, loved the gameplay, loved the odd story. It was a masterpiece. Keep it up!
